The Olympics comes around once every four years.
There are countless hours of practice for just one
minute of fame.
The same holds true with fishing whether it is
freshwater or salt water fishing. If you enjoy the act
of fishing, one should practice and not get
discouraged with failure.
The road to successful fishing is paved with lot of
failure. "Fishing is not necessarily the act of
catching anything." It is an activity of preparing to
fish and enjoying nature, sometimes with another
fisherman.
The high technology of electronics and equipment
helps but is not guaranteed to catch fish. They make
it look easy when you see fishing shows.
Many fishermen loose their focus after a couple of
trips when they have no fish to take home, that they
caught, and return to be couch potatoes.

properly since
I was a kid.

Bobber basics:
For fishing pan fish, but many of the items below do no
apply to crappie fishing.
1. Use a bobber just big enough to float the bait and
weight.
2. Wait for the bobber to go under before setting the
hook.
3. Make the leader light enough so fish won't be
spooked by it.
4. Make the leader long enough not to spook the fish
5. Use a bait that sinks
6. Sharp hooks
7. Adjust bait level below bobber so its close to the
bottom but not on it

Went to Cullman Lake in Alabama.
Used my jig tipped with a waxie.
Bluegill looked at "Alpha Man"
He had to have it. Caught a biggun.
Cleaned and cooked him. Ate him.
